Our cowslips have survived two Scottish winters; snow, floods, deer, rabbits and have multiplied. When is the best time to split and plant them elsewhere in our large, untidy wood alongside snowdrops and bluebells? Never dealt with cowslips before. Thanks in advance

Keep the seed heads and sprinkle the seeds anywhere you like and you should get an even better show next year. They are such lovely flowers.
