You'll have to tell us what kind of window you have, and what it's made from.

double glazed upv theres one big window then a side window that opens out ,i dont't like leaving it open as anyone could climb in
Our existing DG window handles have a halfway point so we can put it on the latch and still lock the window. You'll need to speak to your DG company, doing it yourself might invalidate your warranty.

hi boxtops i have that but i want to open them out a little more as its the only ventilation in the room
the trouble is, if you leave it open enough for someone to get a lever in, even if you lock it then people could put an arm through and wrench off the lock.

The little vents in the DG frame give me enough ventilation, have you got one of those?
mally, why do you want to open the window? It's flippin' freezing!
