I am thinking of putting oil central heating in my house what would be the cost for 7-8 rads + boiler+ tank+installation

Depends where you are but here in the midlands it cost us �4000 last year but for that we had to build a base for the tank and dig the trench from tank to house. A lot of money,effort and upheaval bbut well worth it

A ball park figure of 4,000 to 5,000 should cover this.

Please remember that in England & Wales you must by law apply for approval from your local building control office (local authority) unless you employ an OFTEC registered installer to do the work. OFTEC installers are able to self certify their work and can sign it off without Building Control Notification. You can find more information about OFTEC at www.oftec.co.uk.
