central heating oil additive pd3

You add pd3 to your central heating oil & it is supposed to enhance the performance of your ch boiler.
Has anyone tried this & to what effect ?
Any assistance greatly appreciated.

I tried pd3 18 months ago, on my 40 yr old rayburn it worked so well i now sell to anybody who wants to at least try it , personally i get at least 3 weeks more from a 1000litres of oil and the sooting problem which reduced my efficiency has cleared up. Tony
