The radiator in my bedroom will not get warm, I have bled it, all the other radiators on the system are fine, it is just this one that will not work, it is switched on at the valve on the bottom. Any ideas please?

Is the inlet pipe hot? Did the air come out quickly when you bled it? It may be sludge in the bottom the radiator preventing the water from flowing through.
If you have a thermostatic valve on the radiator, it can stick. Suggest "waggling" the valves every few weeks.
If you unscrew the valve control from the bottom of the rad, is the little that sticks up, in the down or up position? I mean does it go down and return when you push it down?

I will get oh to go and check again, it's too bloody cold up there for me. Get back to you all soon, and thanks.
I agree with Cruciformist, the most likely problem is a sticking thermostatically-controlled valve. Would blasting it with hot air from a hair dryer for a few minutes help?
Unscrew the head and tap the pin with a mallet Traci
