I recently decorated the bathroom and removed the radiator,as I've done before, but when the radiator was replaced the heating was turned on to bleed the radiator but the heating is not working. It was working normally before decorating. Can anyone help with this problem?

Good idea Slackers. Check that first, Callboy. Failing that, it should be something like this to fill the system . Fill to 1.5 Bar on the pressure guage...

the boiler fires up but then goes off again and the radiators and pipes are all cold.the pipe from the boiler gets a little warm then cools down again. Is it anything to do with not enough water in the system
Is it a combi boiler. If so has the pressure dropped? If so let more water into it.
That's a good possibility Mr Heep.

I called someone out a few days ago - no hot water or heating. Someone came out and simply flicked a switch on, I was so embarrassed!

Sorry, not an helpful answer callboy, but double check any basics so you don't waste money and become as humiliated as I was!
