Electric blanket for occasional use

I want to buy a double for the guest bedroom, used very occasionally. Can anyone suggest one for me, preferably from experience?

kitchen tap broke and leaked everywhere without my knowledge

Using the screws underneath the hinges on a patio door to give an extra mm or so of clearance at the bottom...

Mine do!
Seriously, it's mainly used by someone who does 'on call' and often has to go out uin the middle of the night.

^^That's the blanket that we had (swapped if for one with dual controls) and it was excellent throughout the very cold two winters we have had recently.
