Painting the insde of my fibreglass boat

Not sure if I am in the right section but here goes anyway
I have a small fibreglass boat with a cabin in the front. I want to paint it white on the inside of the upper part of the hull which is visable.
Do i need to use a special paint or will a white gloss be okay. The upper part of the cabin looks to have been recently painted.
