Hmmm, I might try that then.
Used to have a pie and bovril at the Villa, warms you up in the winter.
Home-made soup yes. Bovril and Cup-of-soup definitely no, not ever.
cup a soup tastes like water with bits chucked in to me but make one up and pour it over rice and its a right easy snack if you come in freezing cold, tired and cant be bothered cooking lol
The 'cup-a-soups' in the Ainsley Harriet range are worlds apart from the standard ones and are very good for a hot warming something when you don;t fancy a T or coffee.
The Mulligatawny and the Szechuan hot and sour are my faves although I agree they don't touch freshly made soups.
Ainsley Harriot cup soups are the only ones worth trying IMO
If you have no bovril, an oxo cube is not too dissimilar, dash of worcestershire sauce, nice

Would not dare run out of oxo cubes, pie and bovril great to look at when there is nothing worth watching:)
Cup-a-Soup. Tesco want £1.09 each, or two for £1.50. Poundland - two for £1.00, (when they have them). Poundstretcher - 59p each.
