Attaching photographs

I want to attach a photo to one of my posts. It's a photo of a tree which I need help with identifying.

How do I do that?

I think you need to photo-bucket (or what ever it's called) load your picture onto that and post on here Sounds simple but I have no idea how to do any of that.
I'm sure someone will be more helpful.

You can't do it directly but if you were to use http://tinypic.com/ you would copy the Direct Link for Layouts URL that it provides into your posting here.

Like Alba said, use photobucket, just upload your pic and then you can copy and paste a link on here, very easy to do.

If you choose the Tinypic route than it doesn't involve much more than that. You're going to have to upload the pic at some point to get it into AB.

Thanks, ratter. So is photobucket a website that you can put all your photos on? Mine are just in 'My pictures' in my documents folder.

Yes, I have many hundreds of pics on photobucket, you can organise all you pics into albums and make some albums private or just password protect if you want, very flexible and its free.

Tilly2-- please don't die of shame. That you should not end a sentence with a preposition is a daft 'rule' that you should take no notice of.

you don;t have to go mad for just one pic, upload 1 pic to tinypic and past the link, very easy and quick.
