i got a patio thats laid with concrete slabs
grubby now
power washed them last year
anyone reccomend a paint for them

I dont think you can paint them, you have to power wash them regularly and I think there are some items on the market you can coat them with so you dont get all the green and black algae growing again. But I think its just something you have to live with and clean regularly.
Any paint on them will make them very slippery in the wet and will quite possibly peel/flake come the frosts.

Give them a good clean and then brush on some anti moss/fungal treatment.

as said painting them is lethal, the water will just lay on them and make them extremely slippery.

i bought one of those wire brushes you use for getting weeds out of patio . I think on one of the shopping channels they now do a full length brush. I takes a bit of time but they have come up a treat with no chemicals.
