My landlord won't allow us to put picture hooks on the walls and I am desperate to decorate the flat with pictures and posters.  Is there any way I can use blu-tack to stick things to the walls WITHOUT leaving a stain on the wall! Any other suggestions welcome!

We used to use white-tack at home, I don't know if that leaves the same stain?

i think it still leaves a grease mark on paint.  I just wondered if theres any way to get rid of the mark?
Are the walls just plain paint? If so why not pick up a sample pot of the same colour to touch up the spots after removing the blu-tack.

often you can get the mark off with meths, but have you seen these? They are dearer tahn blu tack but the bees back legs for hanging things temporarily

forgot to add they are available online (google "command hooks") or from DIY stores
Scotch Magic Tape can be removed (after years) without any marks or tearing. I usually take a piece and reverse it back on itself (if you see what I mean) so that it can be stuck on the back of the poster.
