However sometimes (once a week maybe) we do park outside his house. He reacts like a prat when we do and Says we are selfish as his wife must then Carry baby anx buggie etc across the (very very quiet) road. Oh excuse typos.., big fingers on small iPhone
stop giving him ammo and don't park there. You may strictly speaking be entitled because you have road tax and can park anywhere legally allowed, but for the sake of peace and quiet.....
Question Author
No weONLY park there if we have a good reason ie today I had heavy suitcases to load. O was just abput to move the care when I heard him put his base on loud again sp I thought ... Nope the car isvstaying now!
Question Author
PS the parking is kinda 50/50 betwen our front door and his.
nothing to be done then is there? You won't/can't move your car, he doesn't like it.

Personally I'd move my car elsewhere, but that's obviously not what you want to hear :-)
Question Author
Yes I would have moved my car (as I said I had the keys in my hand and was in my way to do it) but now I'm thinking if I move it now he will think it's only cos he blared his music out?! Thinking of knocking kn his door and saying "look I'm moving the car....it wouldabewn fine ages ago but wanted u to findig ur temper tantrum first!"
Question Author
As said we park there maybe (at the most) once a week!! The parking space I'd 50/50 outside each door!
Noooooooooooooooo, so not a good idea! The best outcome for that if he continues to play his music, the worst, he re-arranges your face for you! Sometimes it really is best to bite your tongue and "cave in" think, this is one of those situations.
Postdog is right, stop giving him ammo but as you say you only park there when you really need to. I would go round and explain this to him. Tell him you usually try to park elsewhere out of respect for them having a baby to get in and out of the car. I would do this when his wife is home as she may not realise he is doing this whilst she is out.
The fact they can usually park there as you park elsewhere so they can, prob makes him feel even more peeved when they can't park. Will you still be doing it when the child is grown up? cos they will expect to be able to park there always from now on I would have thought.

I'tired if caving in tho boo. It appears as though thrmore we accomodate him then the more demanding he is. (with loads of things)Hw thinks he's something special and really he's a ******er!
I would leave the car where it is.
ok, leave it where it is then.

Wingnut... 2 weeks ago I did exacy that!!! I knocked on his door told him we try generally to park elsewhere and also if he desperately needs to park he can ring my mibile and ask us to move. What more can we do??!! Incidentaaly I suspect hid wife is the "stirrer" and he us the "mouthpiece". My hub n I even looked at moving recently to escape this (buy financially it woulda been not viable)I'm at my wits end!!!!
G'us the postcode and we can all go on Google and give a proper opinion!
Question Author
Oh wingnut I also did ask him how long this would go in for...Tull the child is2? 10? 18?!!!!! Look I don't have kids but ... Hey it'd not my fault they had a baby (big sincere congrats to them honest,.....I mean it) but because they had z baby must I never park there again?
Question Author
Cookian i don't really feel safe doing that (although most ab'ers will be great sane folk I don't want my wherabouts in cyberspace).
I'd park my car there for the rest of the week!
I'd record his music and then play it back, when she's in.
Well, there was a certain amount of irony in my suggestion evedawn!
Hmm they don't sound reasonable at all do they. In this case if you don't want hassle all you can do is park elsewhere but you do have a right to park there and it's tough on them. Really they have shot themselves in the foot by not even being a little bit reasonable.
btw we have no off street parking where we live (cul-de-sac) and it really pisses me off when someone parks where we usually do but I don't do anything about it, it's tough we just have to park up the road. Thats why I said above that the fact they usually can park there because you have let them, it prob really riles them when they can't cos thats how I feel at times, difference is I don't do anything about it because anyone can park there.
Oooo please excuse my language lol!!! Thought AB was suppose to filter swear words out!!!
