Hi,

We have been given some Freesia bulbs but not sure when to plant them even looking on line it's not clear about planting outside, unless I'm looking in the wrong sites. Does anyone here know the best time to plant outside and if it's not until next year will they be ok to keep in a plastic bag indoors until then? Thank you.

They should realy already be planted,But If you plant them now in pots in a warm place to get them going or in the ground where there is some sun to give some heat to the soil they may come through and flower before summers out.
As Ravid states, it's very late now as mine are in full flower, but why don't you try half in pots and the rest in the ground, or save half until next year and plant them in April/May
pots....as soon as it starts to get cool bring them indoors onto the sunniest windowsill better anyway as you lose the fragrance outdoors

Thanks for your answers, will probably try them in pots then so they can be brought indoors, I love the fragrance of these flowers, will be nice to have them indoors.
