I have neutral painted walls and have had photos stuck up for the past 9 months with white tack, but I have to move out of my student property on Saturday and after removing the photos there are grease marks left on the walls. Does anybody know of a way to remove them without repainting? Preferably a cheap solution and if possible something I can find around the house (such as vinegar etc) although I will purchase something if it's reasonably cheap. Thank you.

I put my Chritmas cards up with the white Blue Tack and it made a right mess of the walls - only answer we found was to re-paint, never again...
