i was an incident of which i have been accused of these offences i was verbully abused by a group of teenagers late at night and subsiquently i lashed out and hit a youth an altercation followed in which i was knocked to the floor and kicked around the head and body the 5 or so youths are saying that two of them were injured i only rememer hitting one but two have injuries a cut lip and one lump to the side of the head i therefor susstained a bump to the back of my head a swolen jaw brusing to my eye and fore arm and swelling to my right knee the worrying thing is that i have a previous for violence can anyone help

Why did you strike out?
"Sticks and stones"... and all that....
If they attacked you without provocation you'd be within your rights to defend yourself. Have you made a statement to the police yet?
if there were five onto you I would have thought you were entitled to defend yourself - got any witnesses?

Q 1 i felt liquid hit me in the face.
Q2 yes i have made a statement
Q 3 only what cctv saw and dont have access at the moment.
the cctv should sort it out and show what happened - if it's as you say then it will be recorded and there will be no problems.
