Baxi wall mounted boiler. flame wont remain lit

My 26 year old Baxi boiler's flame has gone out. I can relight it but as soon as the grey knob is released (even after 20 seconds or more) the flame goes out. Any tips.

Sounds like the FFD has burnt out, you need a new thermo-couple fitting. Only a ten min job and should only cost you the price of a call out and the parts cost.
I would be charging �45 call out ( That includes the first 1/2 hr on site, between normal business hrs ) and a tenner for the part so �55 and job done though rates do vary across the country.
