legal advise needed please, (public order offence)
hi all my names paul and im 21,
i work as the head door supervisor on a club and as a security area supervisor during the day,
whislt working on the doors the other night i had my 30 seconds of stupidity thats got me in to life changing trouble,
A man was asked to leave for been to drunk, he had already had a warning, he walked out reasonable calmly but said it was stupid and got abit high rate, he then walked back in threw our other door, i approached him again and this time pushed him out the door, he became very aggressive towards me on our ramp up to our club so i pushed him down the ramp and told him to go away, he didnt, i then pused him again and he raised his fist at me, he continues saying he was going to stab me and began walkin off giving me alot of abuse,
i regretably lost my temper walked over to him, kicked his leg quite hard and threw him to the floor, i then walked away back up my ramp, he then runs at me and trys punching me, my other door man then detains him until the police arrived, all of this was on camera,
he was charged by the police for a section 4 and having drugs.
the next day i was called and asked to go in for a voluntery interview, i agreed,
she accused me of been as bad as him and interagated me saying i lost it etc.
i have not addimtted to anything and said i wanted to stop him as he said he was going to stab me but my story is not great,
i have not yet been charged as she needs her sargent to decide what my charge should be, she said it is likly to be section 3 or 4. i have never been in trouble with the police before and am very worried, conviction would mean i loose my jobs, and very likely my sia, and money is hard as it is.
i really need to advise on what i need to do as its really getting me down, thanks paul.
