I am currently paying 13.61p per Kilowatt hour, which very soon will go up to 13.99p in the New Year. Is this too much, and if so then "watt" can I do about it? I am using an electronic prepayment meter, which uses little keys you bury credit on, and then bring it home to transfer.

How much are all you other ABers paying for your leccie?

We get our electricity from Atlantic Electricity & Gas. We live near Leeds (Yorkshire). Our bill dated 1. November 2010 says that we are on Domestic Standard No Standing Charge On-line Tariff, and we pay 15.08 p. for each of the first 182 units, then 11.12 p, per unit, all plus VAT. We have an outdoor meter, and they send us a bill every quarter. We pay by cheque. Our electricity bill for the quarter ended 28. October 2010 was £74.86.
