We seem to be lacking in AB members recently apart from Quizzes and crosswords. It's got quite boring! Not much fun again after things lightened up. And the News Section is dire!

I've been feeling the same...and thought it was just me.
The past few days I've found myself looking in, thinking "ho hum" and have gone looking elsewhere.
Maybe it's the nice weather...

Its become too predictable in the News section, and the diatribes quoting facts and figures of Brexit might as well be saying how many cornflakes are in a box as far as I am concerned, as I just switch off.

That's because a certain contingent are being very rude and another is filling the section up with 5C propaganda videos every day. Basically having the same discussion over and over and never really digesting the answers.

It's not just news...it's the whole site.
And stop with the silly names and finger pointing TTT...that isn't helping the site either.

Not sure why you think that Missterious but you could always start your own morning thread or nightowl one if your up then or use the one Ed started last week

TTT 'never really digesting the answers.' because they don't want to hear the truth. They think their opinion is the only one worth listening to so it is not a discussion in any sense. Then there is the one who keeps their own threads going by adding meaningless digs at certain people. Never was the phrase 'don't feed the trolls' more appropriate.

If you're bored with some of the topics raised (and I too am bored stiff with the constant repetition of some of them), find something to post on a subject you do want to talk about.

Naomi...some of us ask, and some answer. There's a poll about that!
I know from my own experience that just because I may want, or need to discus something...doesn't mean others will. Or maybe no one is looking in. And when that happens, you don't bother.

Pasta, when I've thought the place was becoming cobwebby I've often dug around the news websites for something a bit different to post. I can't offer any other advice.

It's been relatively lacking for some time. Some controversial (and often done to death subject) threads get posts, but little new & interesting. The place needs to market itself and attract more contributers/active posters.

Doing my best! But I do think there is a tendency for the regulars in news to talk down to those of us who only venture over when a specific area of interest is being discussed.
