Do you mean christmas lights? My friend had some outdoor solar christmas lights in the shrub by her front door last year. She got them from Maplins.
yes, providing the solar colleciton unit can get enough light to it.

Thanks ,will try that.
I had them on my fir tree in the garden last Xmas ,will be away this year but thought would put them in the window, plus a few snowflake stickers I have to make it look like I am at home plus will be nice for when I get back for the New Year.
Will run a test trial before I go.
sounds daft but make sure you get a set with decent battery storage some only work for about two hours afterwards I want some for my balcony tree rather than run cabling outside

Mine worked all the time last Xmas, paid quite a lot for them, learnt my lesson regards to buying cheaply.Bought them from Amazon, they have a good selection,I always read the reviews before buying.
A lot of the cheap Chinese-manufactured stuff is useless .. and not last long.
The solar types will gradually reduce to a glimmer .. as the rechargeables are usually rubbish too.
Buy decent brand.
