Remove Satay stain from carpet?

Does anyone know how to remove a Satay sauce stain from a carpet - carry out spilled whilst I was driving home, what a mess! Tried my best to remove it but haven't been very successful - there is now a green tinge to the light grey carpet - is there a magic formula out there?

All I can say is that Which? top carpet stain remover is Tesco Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner- good on greasy stains, which satay is.
