I have been looking into treatment for whitefly, apart from spraying every few days adhesive on yellow card is recomended, but can I make these? what sort of adhesive won't dry up within a few hours, any advise will be most welcome as the little pests are driving me mad, they are spoiling the cabbages.

Assuming you are willing to spend a few pennies, you can buy packs of yellow plastic sheets, about 10 x7cms already coated with adhesive that stays active for months. We use them to catch house flies but you will find them at most good garden centres with other greenhouse pest treatments. You simply hang them or pin them up and watch the little sods suffer.
