for the first time we have grown runner beans on a wigwam they are doing great in fact they are past the top of the poles,do I prune the tops or would it best to let them keep growing or give them something higher to cling to

If the poles are 7-8ft high then I would nip the beans out, and pick them when young and sweet, about 8" long, and don`t let them dry out, plenty of water.

No offence meant, but it is just one of those things that get to me, when the spelling of `there`, `their` and `they`re` are used in their wrong text. That`s my point. Ze english is to often spelt as she is spoke. :-)
