Sounds wonderful as usual :0) I like the sound of the Cheddar and onion bites, followed by the baby leek and cheese tart and finished with the brandy snaps. We used to have brandy snaps filled with cream on a Sunday when I lived at home but i haven't had them for years...I might have to pop out to the shops and get some now! x

yes GALLONS AND GALLONS - Roughly 2000 bottles in my husband's cellar - it's one of his hobbies
Can I ask mercia - what are these daily menu's in aid of?
I mean, they all sound delicious and get tastebuds tingling... but is there a purpose to them all?
Hi Mercia this all looks delish as always,

I will have the chicken liver, seafood paella and banana splits.

Some sangria would be nice.

Lovely Emoire, I love it when that happens, I jog somebody's memory for something they haven't had in ages!! I wish you lived by me, i'd spoil you rotten!
What we want is more salla in your bananas?
Doc, you beat me here.

Hello.

Anyway ... the paté sounds nice.

I'm not sure if I could manage pasta or pastry today so, by a process of elimination ... the paella. Scallops in a paella ... very indulgent. Yummy.

And 17 cheeses today ??? ... well, the cheese is a shoo-in.

Just a talking point salla, and to annoy duckspook of course - why does anybody post anything here especially on chatterbank? And I also get market research out of peoples choices, i may go back into business again, something i've only just started thinking about this last week or so - and these daily menu's will help me to find out what people like
Ah!
Thank you for that mercia - it all makes a little more sense now.

For the record, I could and would eat any of the menu. I'm just a piglet rather than a twiglet.

Question Author
No, duckspook my husband is a director of Sony music, Europe, not Walter Mitty
Doc ...

I don't think I would choose egg and chips over paté and seafood paella !!
omg Cherry pie the whole thing

plse
I don't eat food like eggs and chips doc.

So if you came to mine for dinner Doc would you think it extravagant if I served you....

Pate with toast....and pie and chips?

That's basically all it is....just described in a M&S way.
