Willow tree leaves

Can anybody advise :- Can you put fallen willow tree leaves into an established compost bin?

If you haven't got a dedicated leaf bin, then collect them in black binliners, wet them well, tie the liners and puncture several times. Forget about them - except to spray through the holes in dry weather. Leaves decay through a different process from that found in a compost heap (he said, avoiding getting technical!)
it'll take forever as some leaves rot better than others..if you dont mind a year or 18mths then grand.
personnally id put them in your green bin garden waste kind)
I've been putting willow leaves in with other compost for years and although like most leaves they don't rot as well they do improve the texture .
