Potatoes

I have planted some potatoes in the garden and some in a bag. They have all got green leaves on them. When do I pick them, some one said when they start to flower but not too sure, any help would be appreciated.TIA

No, let them flower and begin to die back before any harvesting. Oh, sure, you can get some small, new potatoes right after the flowering, but the longer you leave them in the ground the better and larger they will be...

Clanad Once again a very helpful answer I thought that is what we had to do. Hopefully we will get a good crop as this is our first time for growing veg. Thanks again. bestmum
