What's the best way to buy a tonne of top soil?

Any suggestions on where to buy a tonne of top soil from and how much should I expect to pay? Most online sites seem to charge about �100. Sadly, our local garden centres don't sell this much in one go (and they'd probably be much more expensive anyway!). Your suggestions would be really appreciated.......

Have you tried your local council recycling department,they resell garden waste as compost,mulches

try Wickes as they sell in one tonne bags
