honeysuckle, where do i buy it from??

Hi all x Im moving into a country cottage and want to grow honey suckle in the garden.
Where could i buy it from and how quick does it grow??

i got mine from either Home Base or B&Q If not most garden centres will have it..Yes it does grow fairly quickly mine is in a sunny spot... and its managed to survive the winter snow and the cold....

It is a lovely plant and you will enjoy many hours of pleasure from it during summer and early autumn. If you have room why not plant a winter flowering honeysuckle also, which your garden centre should be able to get for you. there are a number of varieties- mine is lonicera standishii. the perfume is delightful, even in the depths of winter

Honeysuckle attracts bees & wasps - dont plant too near house.

Sheribee... Just a quick thought if you can't get a Honeysuckle bush from B&Q or Homebase its just because it's still a bit early in the year....You may need togo back in a couple of months time when they start getting all the plants in...

Thankyou, i havent found any as yet, like u say its not spring yet.. till tomorrow!! x
I will visit a few garden centres tomorrow, they can be a bit pricey, perhaps wilkinsons may sell it, will have a look x

Sheribee... Wikinsons is wicked I bought A David Austin rose bush from them for �7.99 - Went on the David Austin
website and they wanted something like �35.00 for the same one...

Hello again!
Just thought I would let you know that I was in Morrisons today, they had Honeysuckle plants for �1.79. A quick look showed them to be healthy and excellent value.

Hi, I have bought some really nice healthy plants from these folks online. Good quality plants, which have done very well.

They have a whole page of different honeysuckle varieties, different fragrance, fast climbers etc. Worth a look!
