i have purchased a rose bush "waltz time" can i plant it now and also do i have to prune before planting.

as of pruning "who knows" lol
no it should be already pruned ready for the new spring growth, but i would hang on til the end of feb incase we get a ground frost, into march even.

how deep should the holes be
as you can read i am not a gardener LOL
one really needs to know when to plant a seed

you can't do it from a zimmer dot
spade head deep and put a bit of fertiliser in the bottom. I haven't planted roses for years but probably they call it fertiliser now lol
eight inches at least
