I have a weed in my garden, which I cannot kill , no matter how hard I try. I have tried most weed-killers, and none of them seem to work. Sometimes, it looks as if I have destroyed the damn thing, but after a while back it comes again.

The weed in question has a thin, stringy kind of stem, with a number of "clover type" leaves. It sometimes has a small yellow flower. It seems to attach itself to other plants and grow up through the stems of others, thus making it difficult to remove the root.

Has anyone got any idea of a decent weedkiller that will kill the darn weed once and for all?

Hope this makes sense. I hate gardening, but like the garden to look good.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, Sodium Chlorate.

Only use the above if you don`t want anything to grow there for about a year. I would recommend `Roundup` which will get to the root of the problem, and kill everything it touches so be careful with your favourites, cover them with a piece of cardboard or newspaper first. Best of luck..

Thanks to you both.
Maybe you should have a look at http://www.egenie.co.uk. There you post a wish (whatever has to be done) and several tradesmen give estimates. In my eyes that's a good way to find and easily compare tradesmen. There you should find someone who loves gardening.
