Paint them

spray them with a product called rose clear, found at most garden centres.

Spray weekly with a proprietary black spot remover and always pick up any fallen leaves and burn them, don`t put them on the compost. I always give mine a weak spray of diluted well known disinfectant used for drains etc in the winter when the plant is dormant and also around the base of the rose on the soil.
