Is there an easier way of deheading London Pride after the flowers have died than breaking off each stem individually?

I use the shears

Strimmer ?...but then you have to pick up the mess that's fallen onto the plants !!!

i use my texas chainsaw!

Why not use the vacumn cleaner to pick up the cuttings? Then add to the compost heap if you have one.
