Hi condor,
I think it's really better to introduce cordylines and other tender plants to the garden in the spring, when you get progresively warmer days ahead,allowing the plants to aclimbatise gradually before the next winter.
I hope it is'nt too badly affected by the frost, if this is so, then yes I think it may well perk up.
If it's in a pot, moving it close to the house can help keep it a little warmer, especially a south facing wall, 1or 2 degees can make all the differance!
If it's planted in the ground, you could gather the leaves together and tie it up with some garden twine, top and bottom then wrap it with some horticultral fleece if the area is prone to frosts, placing some straw around the base may also help too. Good Luck Tbird+
