Is it true that cardboard can be put on compost heaps? If so, is it all types, including glossy printed boxes?

yes it is true. Waxy or foil coated are not good but other types will be ok. This is best torn up or shredded as the bigger it is, the longer it will take to compost. It also needs to be mixed with other types of compostable products and not just composted alone.
