I didnt mean with cheap drinks, just a reasonably priced restaurant in central Belfast Thanx
Sorry Kirsty no offence meant...........what I really tried to imply was that New Years Eve is one of the times when most folk want to go out for that special evening and unfortunately (for us punters) it is also one of the times when you have to pay the inflated prices which can be asked by....dare I say it...ALL entertainment establishments.............just being practical here...........they are in it for the money don't you agree.............;-)
Hi
I would recommend Bourbon on Great Victoria St, although depending on what you order it can get expensive.

More reasonably priced is Darcys beside Laveries on Bradbury Place, or the Apartment or Northern Whig, both of which are also bars so you could sit on in them for the rest of the night. All three of these serve "ordinary" food - steaks, chicken dishes etc

There are also a few nice Italians (Scalinis, Villa Italia, Cafe Milano, Speranza) within walking distance of the pubs and clubs
