Yes, squirrels plant everwhere. Glut this year but some trees, nothing even tho theyre same size.

I think it could be the squirrels thats eating then, I've noticed that they tend to go for one tree, before moving on to the next.

Something loaded with delish nuts ????

I'm scratching my head to think of anything fitting that description; well apart from myself of course.
