I always buy new packets and try and save seed from Convulvus. The amount of flowers you get I think is worth it.
I have noticed there is a wild blue/purple variety that grows all over the Med countries. It does not produce seed but propagates itself by trailing stems that root if the stem touched the ground.
Anyone know the full name of this variety.

I know it as 'Morning Glory'

It grows as a weed in Greece and most convulvus will root from stems in contact with the soil.
