Growing vegetables

I would like to start growing vegetables can anyone tell me what ones would be the easiest to start with at this time of year?

Try Radishes, Carrots, Lettuce, really quick growers and not too demanding for a new gardener. Good luck

tomato possibly- you need to water them but they do the rest themselves. just plant some small plants from a garden centre in a sunny spot and water well/feed with tomato stuff as on the bottle. I had 40 on the go last year (plants) my first year of growing and it was pretty good fun..
