Pink leather sofa

A very kind lady gave me a 2 seater sofa for my new flat. Unfortunately it is rather dirty. I've tried leather polish but to no avail. Would soapy water do the trick, or ruin it completely? Any suggestions much appreciated considering the colour of it.

yep saddle soap is the best, u can buy it cheap on ebay

I think Kim and Aggie used soap on a cream leather sofa once. Try googling 'cleaning leather sofa'. Good luck !
