I want to replace an old Honeywell T4 room thermostat with a new Drayton Digistat 3 because of the improved control it will give me; however, the terminals are differently labelled. Old one has common (red/live) to terminal 1, Yellow to 3, blue to 2 and an earth.  New one doesn't need earth (ok), uses red/live to terminal 1, and the other terminals are marked "Satisfied" (2) and "Call" (3).  From what I can see, 2 &3 on the old one are joined - both relays are spco according to the diags inside the covers.  I'd be grateful for an indication on how I connect the new thermostat.  Thanks!

Sorry, I seem to have mislaid the wiring instructions but if AB will allow me to give you the number you could phone the Technical Support Line of  [Telephone number removed as per site policy. - AB Editor]

I installed a Digistat 3 over a year ago and the extra control is quite impressive.  There may be others that give a greater choice of settings but I`m more than happy with mine.  Best wishes.
