Does anyone know how to get these dreadful things off the wall. I've been using a chisel but it's bloody hard work. Is there an easier way??

Please someone tell me there is..... :-(

Thank you Zak.....

Do you think you'll have to go to the bother of removing all the glue if the wall will have to be replastered then tiled???

Bummer......

I've had to stop as my knuckles are bleeding and I'm getting blood on the walls.

As some plaster has come away in may places I think it might be easier to just knock the plaster back.
just try not to damage the board underneith when removing skim. Any good DIY shop will sell a 6" scraper. Is has an 18" long handle and 6" wide disposable stanley sharp blades in. Absolutly brilliant piece of kit.

Im in the carpentry trade - mainly fitting kitchens so use it a lot for removing wall tile and soft floor tile adiesive.

Makes short work of any scraping job.

Cheers toleman.

There isn't any board underneath. It's like a layer of dusty plaster on top of a concrete looking plaster.
