hi, im a single dad working as an hgv driver, 20 months ago i start work and told 7am start, fine had people to watch my kid then in november i was told 8am to which was better. things were going smooth now been told to start 7am but have nobody to take my daughter, spoke to hr waste of time then my manager WAS told i am 7am but told him icant then told i need to be flexible then told to sort it out and when he come back from hols on wed if answer still no hes seeing advice from hr department (when i started work i put him in the picture of being a single parent)

How old is your child? If she is under 6 then you have the right to apply for flexible working. Google employment law for more info.
