where the hell have you been offered a 2 bed house for that price that's really cheap!!!

you should be able to survive with that income... I've managed on my own on less income and paying more rent than that in the past!

a friend of my partners morgages it and only wants 300 to cover it... and its in sittingbourne.
I would be snatching their arm off taking it at that price, where I live that's about half what you would expect to pay for a two bedroom place.

After rent it is going to leave you 920 a month to cover bills and living which should be plenty unless you lead a really expensive lifestyle and if it is tight you could always rent the second room out for 50 a week including bills and get a large chunk of your rent paid by somebody else that way

i no its a chance not too miss... i would rent the second room out but we have a baby on the way.
I used to rent a 1-bed paying 365 on a salary of 14k and running a car so YES dont hold back - go for it !!!!!!
i'm 55 yrs old and whan i was young in my 20s people used to say allow 25% of your earnings to pay for your accomodation ..at the time i thought that was too much but if you can get away with paying that nowadays it is as cheap as chips.. you would pay that in a council house if you could actually get one.."dont look a gift horse in the mouth" take it whilst you still can..
i have about the same income and a mortgage of 650 a month! You will manage definetly with money to spare you will probably need to open a saving account! Excluding my mortgage my bills come to about 350/400 max thats including council tax and food aswell. Go for it people survive on much much less good luck.
Yeah you'll be fine, when I bought my house my mortgage payments alone varied btw 320-385 per month and back then I earned 1100 per month.

This was about 3 years ago so bills will have gone up but realistically I think you'll be fine
