Many, many years ago my husband purchased a Rebating/Rabbetter tool (Eclipse) I think. This fitted on the end of a power drill, and consisted of a guide, circular blade of about 2 1/2 inches in diameter and which had an adjustable depth. Over the years it has saved us pounds and pounds. However, it has now broken and I am just writing to enquire if you know of any of these and where they could be obtained. Many thanks. He has had this item 15-20 years I think, maybe even longer.

unsure if its a blade or a new tool you are after.A router would be a suitable alternative if its the entire set up you want to replace.Try http://www.machines4wood.com/mall/departmentpa ge.cfm/scottandsargeant/81139/1/1 if its just the blade you want, alternatively Makita used to offer a battery powered saw which used blades of the diameter you indicate.
