The front wall of my semi has been (unnecessarily)coated with a clear waterproof sealant. However, the bricks are now a lighter shade than my neighbours and it looks a mess.Is their a product i can use to remove the waterproofer and restore the wall back to its original colour??

I don't think so - it will be a silicon-based product that has been soaked into the brick.
find out the name of the product and contact them direct, they should know best what to do. Good luck with it.
