the charges

can anyone help out with this one? my mates x wife has got him charged for keep sending her emails can his x wife drop the charges at anytime if she want's to? he has been to court and pleaded guilty. now waiting to go back to court

The ex-wife has made the complaint, but the police have bought charges against him.
He has pleaded guilty so it is highly unlikely the ex-wife could stop the process.

Even if the x wife made a statement withdrawing her complaint it is too late. Your mate will be sentenced in due course and will have a conviction.
