Hi just an easy answer please,im selling some paving stones by the yard,but somebody as mailed me and asked for 120 m2 how many yards is thats please,they are square yards 36 x36 thankyou can use conversion charts so just the answer please,thanks hairymary

Multiply by 1.196, so 143.5

They want 143.5 square yards.
m2 means square metres.

Thanks buildersmate im sorted now,i will just give meself a test see if ive got it right
50 yards =59.800 metres
75 yards =89.700 metres

hairymary you have got it the wrong way round.
Buidersmate is right.
sq metres to sq yards mutiply by 1.2
sq yards to sq metres multiply by 0.84
yards to metres multiply by 0.91
metres to yards multiply by 1.09

Thanks mr peter im well confused now i just need dead simple answers like buildersmate gave me but looks like ive even managed to get that wrong now
Maybe look at it this way. If a square yard can fit inside a square metre (it can because its a smaller size) there must be more yards than metres in a fixed area. So the yards is the bigger number in this conversion. So 50 m2 is 59 sq yds.
