Has anyone got this? Is it any good? I need something to help me strip varnish/stain off furniture - particularly piano stools. Thanks for any info.

No, they're sh*t. Buy a proper one.
I've never found such 'detail sanders' to be as good as they're advertised to be.
For something like a piano stool, I'd have thought a liquid remover like Nitromors and fine steel wool would be the answer, especially for turned legs.
Hi Rodge,

Paint/varnish stripper is best. I would advise against steel wool, try and obtain copper wool.

My friend restores & sells antique furniture for a living. When he strips furniture he uses nitromors & coarse wire-wool on the intricate bits, & finishes it with very fine wire-wool. On the flat sections he uses a Stanley knife blade.
I would not touch anything made by Black & Decker, everything in recent years that I purchased made by Black & Decker died within weeks, biggest lot of tosh on the market.

They used to be very good 20 years ago!!
