The electric extractor fan in our bathroom ceiling has started to squeal like a banshee when you first turn it on. Unfotunately its connected to the light switch, so that means every time you turn the light on. If you hit it a few times with a shampoo bottle it stops, Have tried WD40, no difference. Once its run for a while you can turn it off and on again within 5min or so and its OK, but any more and it starts squealing again. Can anyone tell me how to fix it?
